Acceptable Use Policy
Effective June 3, 2026
Postmark RSVP exists to let real people invite real people to real events. This policy keeps it that way.
Allowed
- Wedding, party, fundraiser, conference, class, club, or other event invitations.
- Lists of people who personally know you or your organization.
- Follow-up reminders to invitees who haven't responded.
- Internal team RSVPs (offsites, meetings, training).
Not allowed
- Purchased, scraped, or rented email lists.
- Marketing, promotional, or sales emails dressed up as RSVPs.
- Adding people who never opted in or never met you.
- Phishing, spoofing, or impersonating another person or org.
- Anything illegal where you or your guests live.
- Adult content, gambling promotions, or regulated-substance sales.
Bounces & complaints
We monitor bounce and spam-complaint rates. Persistent high rates will pause your account while we investigate. Sending to known-invalid addresses isn't a strategy — clean your list first.
Reporting abuse
If you received a Postmark RSVP email you didn't expect, please forward it to abuse@postmark.rsvp. We act on every report.
Enforcement
We'll warn you first when we can. We'll suspend immediately when we have to — for example, ongoing phishing or a complaint storm. Repeat or severe violations end with termination and no refund.
